What is your greatest need?

It’s much easier to get bitter than to hold on to joy.

I know I’m not alone in this Circadian rhythm disruption.

A subtle slacking can be effortless but leaves a dullness in it’s shadow.

I can’t help wonder why we are so captured by these trends of fabrics and designs that drape our frames with these coverings.

It is the very Word of God that awakens us to Him.

I want to focus on the blessings

He gives off innocence and normalcy and has clearly become a part of the background scenery.

Sometimes, friendships can really be one-sided, like a vacuum, always taking in but never giving back.

We are limited in our ability to know others. Even our deepest and most intimate relationships have their limitations.

Herein lies the walk of faith. The balance beam of trust.

This side of the cross we get to choose which inheritance we want to possess. Life happens either way but how we respond to it determines our peace of mind.

When Jesus calls you out and touches your soul the scales fall to the wayside and the vision of a new life bursts forth with meaning and purpose.

While the sun has shined brightly, there has been a kind of noxious cloud that has encircled the earth.

If you are a watchman, are you in the tower? Are you waiting with great anticipation, telling of the need for reconciliation and the glories to come? Or are you a wanderer seeking answers to your questions?

Isn’t this somewhat similar to how we feel when an itsy-bitsy, or as we call it today, micro-aggression, has been cast in our direction?

Prayers are a powerful gift we are given to lay our concerns and grievances before a mighty God whom is very present in every moment of life.

Walk with me down to the river where the cool water will was away the grime. Let the baked on sweat from the fires of life just roll off and refresh your soul.

Do we think we can somehow straddle the fence and still be safe? If we drop down on one side or the other, then we have made a decision. The thought can actually cripple many. But the truth is, actually staying on the fence is a decision.

Most of us need that space where we feel safe and at peace. But sometimes our circumstances, whether by choice or destiny, land us in a place without our props of comfort.
